Living Our Visions Empowered thru Gaining Revitalized Affordable Communities for Everyone.

Sufficiency of Families brings forth The LOVE and GRACE Project.

The LOVE and GRACE Project gives an opportunity for restoration of one’s self; forged out of a commitment to give back to those in need, to be a ray of hope and a beacon of light in life’s darkest times. We encourage the “hand up” not “hand out” concept by providing the essential assistance to those veterans who have served our country.

Since 9/11, more than 2 million members of the U.S. Military have served proudly in the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. An estimated 78% of those veterans returning to California from these wars will seek employment and an estimated 75% of veterans returning to California from these wars seek education at a California community college as part of their transition home or homelessness.

More than one hundred San Diego homeless died needlessly in alleys, on sidewalks, or alone in dingy motel rooms in 2004. This heartbreak is compounded by the fact that at least 22% of San Diego’s homeless citizens are veterans RTFH: Regional Task Force for the Homeless.

Sufficiency of Families stands up for veterans. We work to ensure that the United States honors its commitment to the men and women who volunteered to fight for our freedom and security. The LOVE and GRACE Project lays the foundation for Sufficiency of Families to forge forward providing quality PH facilities within greater San Diego County.

In closing, this is how we do our part to repay the brave men and women for their service to our country.
